Night to Shine
Night to Shine is an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs ages 14 and older. This coming year, on Friday, February 11, 2022, Night to Shine will celebrate its eighth anniversary as thousands from around the world will come together to honor those with disabilities. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Night to Shine 2022 will be a worldwide Shine-Thru Parade and Virtual Celebration. Though this year will look a little different, nothing can keep Faith, Hope and Love from shining as bright as ever!
Living Hope Cancer Support Group
The Living Hope Cancer Support Group meets the first Wednesday of each month at 10:00am at PBC.
This is a group for anyone dealing with cancer, from the newly diagnosed to those who are in remission, as well as their loved ones. It is led by Nikkie Cox with the help of Christy Ford. Our vision is to show people the love of God in this difficult time. We will offer support, encouragement, and most importantly, hope. If you or someone you know would benefit from this group, please join us!
Belpre Area Ministries
“As an expression of God’s love and as an opportunity to share the good news of Jesus Christ, the churches of the Belpre area and other organizations have formed “The Belpre Area Ministries, Inc.” The member churches and organizations seek to better meet the immediate needs of people in Belpre and Little Hocking who need assistance. … B.A.M. is a thrift store and food pantry that also gives assistance to those in need with utilities, prescriptions, gas and lodging.”
Women’s Care Center
“Women’s Care Center is a Christian ministry with a passion to empower individuals to make healthy life choices through education and medical services. (They) provide comprehensive support to protect the lives of unborn children, offer support and healing to victims of abortion, promote sexual abstinence until marriage, encourage healthy lifestyle behaviors that reduce the risk of sexually transmitted diseases and unplanned pregnancies, engage the community on the sanctity of human life, and share the gospel of Jesus Christ.”
Latrobe Street Mission
“The Mission of The Latrobe Street Mission is to provide resources, opportunity and shelter for the homeless through developing community partnerships demonstrating our love for our neighbors. … The Emergency Shelter fulfills immediate basic needs (food, shelter, clothing), connects individuals with available resources, and guides them toward experiencing freedom and self-sufficiency. … On week days, local churches and groups provide dinner for all residents.”
